Incredible food (all entirely homemade), very warm people and a homey and comfortable place to spend time.
Our food was fantastic. We had the Kurbis soup and it was mind-blowingly good. Our waiter/owner was a complete character and completed our outstanding experience. Am Hochsten empfehlt.
Great traditional Austrian restaurant
The inn is in the country and I was very pleasantly surprised at how good the food is there. Excellent tasty and also nice to look at, which is very important to me. And I find it very positive that, in addition to the standard menu, there are also daily recommendations. Host is very friendly!
After picking up my Tesla in Klagenfurt, my wife and child (including me) were hungry before we started the journey back to Graz.
By chance and Google navigation we went to the restaurant.
What can we say, the boss was extremely friendly and open, our 2-year-old son's curiosity wasn't a problem ;) Choice of seating and no angry faces because we sat down in the sun again (we were even asked to make ourselves comfortable).
The food was extremely tasty and served very quickly, our little one liked the fritter soup, which is very picky (especially when it comes to fries ;)).
We were also happy that the ingredients were fresh, which we could also taste.
I happened to be nearby and visited the restaurant and drove home to Graz satisfied and full.
Thanks also to the boss, who welcomed us warmly and also served us.
It's rare to find something like this these days!
PS: Also a recommendation for friends without cash and cashless payments and also don't have a grumpy face when asked whether you can pay by card ;)
Very comic place.
Been here for the first time. Very nice and courteous reception. Although we hadn't reserved and it was very busy, a place for the two of us was quickly organized.
The chef recommended us daily specials that weren't on the menu.
Tagliatelle with shrimp = delicious
Mixed salad = delicious
Cordon bleu = room for improvement, especially the fries were not satisfactory for me for the price. The meat could have been a tad thinner.
But otherwise definitely worth a visit.
This restaurant is a real insider tip and I highly recommend to visit it if you want to have delicious, tasty, homemade food paired with an exceptional friendly and welcoming service. The atmosphere combines the elements of a traditional Austrian restaurant and an art gallery. The prices are very reasonable for the high standard of food you get.
